DESSERT BARS 
1 pkg. German chocolate cake mix
1/2 c. soft butter

Blend above ingredients. Put half of mixture in bottom of lightly greased cake pan. Bake 6 minutes at 350 degrees. Melt 1 package Kraft caramels in top of double boiler with 1/2 cup evaporated milk, spread this mixture on top of baked cake crust. Add 6 ounce package of chocolate chips. Cover with the remaining cake batter. Bake 15 minutes.
