1 box yellow cake mix
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. butter
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
1 (6 oz.) pkg. semisweet chocolate pieces
3/4 c. pecans

Mix all ingredients, except chocolate chips and nuts. Beat well. Pour into a greased 9 x 13 x 2 inch pan. Sprinkle the chocolate chips and pecans on top. Bake at 350 degrees 25 minutes. Cool and cut in bars.
