MEATBALLS ALA LES 
1 lb. ground beef (least expensive, 30% fat)
1 c. unseasoned bread crumbs
1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
1/2 c. milk
2 eggs, lightly beaten
2 tbsp. parsley flakes, crushed
1 tsp. sweet basil, crushed
1/2 tsp. oregano, crushed
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. white pepper
4 cloves garlic, finely minced

Mix all ingredients together thoroughly. Roll into golf ball size balls (or smaller, if you want more meatballs.)

When sauce has been cooked down to the desired thickness, and has been brought back up to a rolling boil, add meatballs to sauce and cook according to directions in sauce recipe. This recipe makes a great meatloaf.
