BEEF CURRYAKI WITH MUSHROOMS 
1 lb. round steak, cut in 1/2 x 1/2 inch strips
2 tbsp. cooking oil
1 lg. onion, chopped
2 tsp. curry powder
1-2 clove garlic, minced
1/8 tsp. chili powder
1 med. green pepper, cut in strips
1 c. reg. strength beef broth
2 tbsp. soy sauce
1 (8 oz.) can sliced mushrooms
1 tbsp. cornstarch

Heat oil in skillet - brown meat - set aside. Combine onion, curry powder, garlic, chili powder and green pepper to pan - stirring until onion is limp. Return meat to pan. Stir in broth and soy sauce. Add mushrooms. Cover and simmer about 1 1/2 hours until meat is tender - over low heat. Thicken with 1 tablespoon cornstarch mixed in 1/4 cup water. Serve over hot cooked rice.
