MEXICAN CASSEROLE | |
1 lb. hamburger 1/4 c. chopped onion 1/2 tsp. garlic salt 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce 1 (15 oz.) can Hunts "special" tomato sauce 1 sm. can black olives, sliced 1 c. sour cream (Top the Tator) 1 c. cottage cheese 4 oz. green chilies (optional) 2-4 c. grated Monterey Jack cheese Tortilla chips Brown hamburger and onion; drain. Add garlic salt, tomato sauce, and sliced olives. Layer chips, 1/2 of hamburger mixture, 1/2 of mixture of sour cream, cottage cheese and green chilies. Layer 1/2 of cheese. Repeat. Add chips on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 45 minutes. |
