CHINESE FRIED RICE 
4 to 5 c. cooked rice (rice that has been precooked and refrigerated)
1 clove garlic
4 tbsp. salad oil
1/4 to 1/2 c. chopped green onions
3 to 4 tbsp. soy sauce
6 slices crisply cooked bacon (crumbled)
1 beaten egg
1 c. cooked chopped ham or shrimp or chicken
Parsley (optional)

Heat oil in skillet medium-low. If raw chicken is used, stir fry now about 5 minutes. Add onion, rice, soy sauce, and garlic. Continue cooking about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add bacon and precooked meat (if used) along with egg and parsley. Cook 5 minutes longer.
