GERMAN APPLE PANCAKE | |
4 eggs, beaten 3/4 c. flour 3/4 c. milk 1/2 tsp. salt 2 tbsp. butter, divided 3 apples, peeled, sliced 1/4 tsp. cinnamon 1/4 c. sugar Raisins, optional Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Saute apples with 1 tablespoon butter and cinnamon in skillet just until butter melts and apples are warmed. Use either 14 inch pancake pan or 2 pie pans. Heat pan(s) in oven until hot. Add butter, melt. Beat together eggs and milk. Add to flour and salt, beat. Pour into hot, buttery pan (pans). Spoon apples on top, quickly and sprinkle with sugar. Bake 25 minutes. (Small pans take less time). |
