BLUE CHEESE SALAD 
1 c. ripe olives, chopped
1/3 c. salad oil
2 tbsp. cider vinegar
3 tbsp. blue cheese
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
4 green onions, coarsely chopped
1 lg. chilled head romaine

Cut olives into wedges. Combine salad oil, vinegar, cheese, salt and pepper in a large salad bowl. Mix until creamy and well blended, using fork. Add green onions. Cut romaine into 1 inch slices. Add to salad bowl. Add olives.

Cover and chill. Just before serving, toss to distribute dressing. Serve on chilled plates.
