MR. MOM'S ROAST
1 pork or beef roast (make sure it will fit in crock pot)
1 onion
garlic salt or season salt
pepper
crock pot

Make sure your roast is taken out of the freezer and thawed before you do anything else. Season your roast with whatever you want. Chop the onion and throw it in the crock pot. Turn the crock pot on low. If you use a beef roast use a little water at the bottom. Pork does not need any water. Cook your roast on low over night while you sleep or put it on first thing in the morning before you leave for work. I promise the house won't burn down, mine never did.

Don't be tempted to sample. Keeping the lid on will help keep it tender and to perfection. By the time you wake or return home from work your roast is ready to be served with instant mashed potatoes and a can of vegetables. The kids will swear you hired someone to come in while mom is gone.

Delicious! I'm new to using the crock pot and had previously added a lot of water. It made it soupyand I couldn't really use the broth. I loved this super easy method and will continue to use it in the future. Thanks Mr. Mom!
