3 DAY BAR-B-Q BEEF BRISKET | |
5 to 6 lb. beef brisket Celery salt Onion salt Garlic salt Bar-B-Q sauce (your favorite kind) Day 1: Pour salts on all sides of beef. Wrap in heavy duty foil and refrigerate overnight. Day 2: Bake in foil (and in a pan) in 250 degree oven for 5 hours. Uncover and pour on Bar-B-Q sauce to completely coat meat. Rewrap and bake 1 more hour. Pour off juices and store both in refrigerator. Day 3: Slice meat thinly. Heat 1 hour before serving. Heat sauce and serve as gravy. |
