BRAN MUFFINS | |
3/4 c. raisins 1 1/2 c. Bran Buds 1 1/2 c. milk 1 1/2 c. flour 1 tbsp. baking powder 1 egg 1 egg 1/2 c. molasses 3 tbsp. oil Optional: 1/4 c. chopped nuts, 1/4 c. sunflower seeds, 1 med. apple, chopped Soak 3/4 cup raisins in hot water. In small bowl combine 1 1/2 cups Bran Buds and 1 1/2 cups milk and let soak. In small bowl combine 1 1/2 cups flour and 1 tablespoon baking powder. Now add 1 egg, 1/2 cup molasses, and 3 tablespoons oil to the Bran Buds. Finally combine the drained raisins, flour mixture and Bran Buds mixture. For that "healthy" touch add the nuts, seeds and apple. Bake at 400 degrees for 15-20 minutes. |
