PEACH PRESERVES CAKE 
3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
2 sticks butter, room temperature
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda in 1 c. buttermilk
1 c. peach preserves
1 1/2 c. pecans

Sift together flour, cloves, cinnamon and salt; set aside. Cream together butter and sugar. Add eggs, 1 at a time. Put baking soda in buttermilk and beat into egg mixture. Add flour mixture, peach preserves and pecans. Bake in tube pan or large loaf pan 1 hour and 40 minutes in a 325 degree oven. Depending on your oven, it may bake in 1 hour and 15 or 20 minutes.
