BREAD & BUTTER PICKLES 
4 qt. sliced cucumbers
4 sliced onions
4 sweet peppers
1 tsp. dry mustard
1 tsp. turmeric
4 tsp. mustard seed
4 tsp. salt
3 c. sugar
3 c. vinegar
2 c. water

Combine all ingredients; heat well. Do not boil. Spoon into clean pint canning jars. Wipe tops of jars well. Cold pack for 10 minutes after water starts to boil.
