BEEF BROCCOLI PIE 
1 lb. ground beef
2 tbsp. flour
1/4 tsp. garlic salt
1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped broccoli, cooked and drained
Pastry for 2 crust pie
4 oz. Monterey Jack cheese
1/4 c. chopped onion
1 tsp. salt
1 1/4 c. milk
1 beaten egg

Brown beef and onion; drain fat. Stir in flour, salt and garlic salt. Add 1 1/4 cups milk and cream cheese. Cook and stir until mixture is smooth and bubbly. Add a moderate amount of the hot mixture to the egg; return to skillet. Cook and stir over medium heat until mixture is thickened 1-2 minutes.

Stir in broccoli. Set aside. Line 9 inch pie plate with 1/2 pastry. Spoon in hot mixture, top with cheese slices and pastry. Perforate, brush with milk. Bake 45 minutes at 350 degrees. Let stand 10 minutes. Cut and serve. Serves 6.
