Cover the cookie sheet. 1/2 c. sugar

Cook in boiler and boil no more than 2 minutes.

Put 1 cup of chopped nuts, pecans or almonds, on top of crackers. Pour butter mixture over crackers and bake at 325 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes.
