CHOCOLATE BRITTLE 
Saltines
2 sticks butter
1 c. light brown sugar
1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips

Set oven at 400 degrees. Use large aluminum cookie pan with edge, or jelly roll pan. Line pan with 1 layer of saltine crackers, whole. Boil butter with sugar for 3 minutes, no longer. Pour over saltines and bake at 400 degrees for 5 minutes.

Sprinkle chocolate bits over crackers while hot and spread (keep pan on oven door for heat and easy melting). Refrigerate and break into pieces.

Ovens vary, keep checking the first time you make this and adjust.
