MELTING MOMENTS 
1 c. butter
1/3 c. powdered sugar
3/4 c. cornstarch
1 c. flour

FROSTING:

1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. powdered sugar

Cookie: Cream butter and sugar. Add flour and cornstarch. Mix and chill. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet. Bake 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes. (Cookies should not over-brown.) Remove to rack and cool. Frost and serve. (I "shape" mine for a nicer looking cookie.)

Frosting: Cream sugar, cheese and blend in vanilla. Add a few drops of red or green food coloring to each half of mixture (or thirds, leaving one part white) to make pale pastel frosting.
