FUDGY RICE KRISPIE BARS 
2 c. milk chocolate chips (12 oz.)
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. light Karo syrup
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. powdered sugar
4 c. Rice Krispies cereal

Combine chocolate chips, butter and corn syrup in medium size saucepan. Stir over low heat until melted and smooth (you can do this in microwave safe bowl and cook 3-4 minutes in microwave until melted, some microwaves may take a little longer). Stir in vanilla after removing from heat, then add powdered sugar. Add Rice Krispies mixing lightly until well coated. Spread evenly in a 9 x 13 inch pan. Chill until firm. Cut in squares. Store in refrigerator.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
