WEIGHT WATCHERS - BEST LASAGNA IN THE WORLD | |
1 lb. lean ground beef 1 c. chopped onion 2 tsp. seasoned salt 1-2 tsp. chili powder 1 tsp. garlic powder 3 packets Equal sweetener 29 oz. can tomato sauce 6 oz. can tomato paste 8 oz. can mushrooms, drained 3 1/2 c. water 12 oz. shredded mozzarella cheese 3/4 c. cottage cheese 3/4 c. ricotta cheese 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese 9 oz. uncooked lasagna noodles In a large pan, brown beef with onion and seasonings. Stir in tomato sauce, paste, mushrooms and water. Simmer 10-15 minutes. The mixture should be thin. Mix together cottage, ricotta and Parmesan cheeses. Spray 9 x 13 inch pan with Pam. Layer 1/3 of uncooked noodles, 1/3 of cheese mixture, 1/3 of the sauce and 1/3 of the shredded mozzarella. Continue with 2 more layers of each until pan is filled. Bake at 350°F for 60-90 minutes. Cut into 8 equal pieces. May be frozen. 8 servings. One serving = 4 protein, 1 1/2 bread, 1 1/2 vegetable, 30 optional calories. |
