1 1/2 c. flour
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt (optional)
1/2 c. butter
3/4 c. light brown sugar (do not use dark)
3 tbsp. sugar
1 lg. egg
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 to 1 1/4 c. chocolate chips

Combine. Put in freezer for 15 minutes to make it more pliable, then spread on the round disposable pizza pan, leaving about an inch margin for the cookie to expand. Bake in 325 degree oven for 25-30 minutes. After it cools, you can use decorative icing to write "Happy Birthday" or whatever else you might want to convey!
