CINDY'S SUGAR COOKIES 
1 c. butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
4 1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt

Cream sugar and butter. Add eggs, one at a time. Add dry ingredients slowly. When mixed, seal with wax paper and chill overnight. Next day, roll out and cut into shapes. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 15 minutes. (Cookies should not be brown at all.) Ice with Betty Crocker Creamy White icing mixed according to directions.
