CHOCOLATE PIZZA | |
1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips 1 lb. white almond bark 1 c. Rice Krispies 1 c. peanuts 2 c. miniature marshmallows 1 (6 oz.) jar red maraschino cherries, cut in half 2 tbsp. green maraschino cherries, drained & quartered 1/3 c. flaked coconut 1 tsp. oil Melt chocolate with 14 ounce almond bark. Microwave 2 minutes on defrost; stir. Continue microwaving 1-2 minutes until smooth, stirring every 30 seconds. Stir in cereal and peanuts. Add marshmallows and mix well. Pour into greased 12 inch pizza pan. Top with cherries. Melt remaining 2 ounces of almond bark with oil in 1 cup glass container in microwave and drizzle on pizza. Chill until firm. Store at room temperature. I prefer to make either 4-6 inch round pizzas or 12 (4 inch) round pizzas. Great for Christmas presents wrapped in colored saran wrap. |
