RAISIN PILAF | |
1/4 c. butter 1 sm. yellow onion sliced 1/4 c. slivered almonds 1/4 c. raisins 1 c. uncooked regular or processed white rice 2 c. chicken broth, hot Heat oven to 375 degrees. Grease 1 1/2 quart casserole. In saucepan, melt butter. Add onion sliced, almonds, raisins saute until golden brown. Add rice and mix well. Add 2 cups of hot chicken broth. Place in casserole and cover. Bake 30 minutes or until liquid is absorbed. Makes 4 servings. |
