SHOO-FLY PIE 
CRUMBS:

3 c. flour
1 c. light brown sugar
3/4 c. butter or 1 stick + 1/4 c. Crisco

LIQUID:

1 c. molasses
1 c. boiling water
1 tsp. baking soda dissolved in a few drops vinegar, then add boiling water to make 1 c.

Dissolve 1 cup molasses in the water and soda, making 2 cups liquid.

Line 3 small pie plates with pie crust. Or make 1 (9") pie plate and 1 smaller 7" to 8" pie plate.

Pour liquid evenly into crust lined pie plate. Sprinkle equal amounts of crumbs on top. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 45 minutes or until firm to touch.
