CARAMEL POPCORN 
6 qt. popped corn
1 c. peanuts
2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. white Karo syrup
1 c. butter
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. baking soda

Combine sugar, Karo, butter and salt; bring to boil. Cook slowly for 5 minutes, stirring frequently. Timing is important, do not overcook. Remove from heat. Add vanilla and soda. Mix thoroughly. Pour syrup over fresh popped corn and peanuts which have been placed in large container; mix well. Place in 250 degree oven for 1 hour. Stir every 15 minutes.
