CHEESE PIE | |
1 (9-inch) pie shell 3/4 c. Cheddar cheese, grated 1/2 c. Monterey Jack cheese, grated 3 eggs, lightly beaten 1 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. white pepper 1 1/2 c. half & half 1 (4 oz.) candied green chilies, drained 1 (2 1/4 oz.) can sliced ripe olives, drained 2 tbsp. green onion tops and bottoms, chopped Prepare pie crust. Mix cheeses together and spread over bottom of prepared shell. In medium bowl, mix eggs, salt, pepper, cream, chilies, olives and onions. Pour over the cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes. Serve hot. |
