MAPLE NUT TWIST 
Mix 1 cup flour, 1 package yeast, 1 teaspoon salt, and 1/4 cup sugar. Heat 1 cup milk and 3 tablespoons butter to 120-130 degrees. Add to flour mixture. Plus 1 egg. Hand stir in 2 cups flour to make stiff dough. Let rise 1 1/2 hours or until double. Knead and roll in 3 equal circles. Brush first one with 2 tablespoons melted butter. Sprinkle on 1/3 of filling. Continue with other 2 circles. Place glass in center. Cut from outside edge of dough to the glass into 16 equal pie shaped wedges twist, each 3 times. Remove glass. Let rise until double. Bake 20-25 minutes at 350 degrees. Drizzle while warm with icing.

FILLING: 3/4 cup sugar, 1 teaspoon cinnamon, and 1 cup nuts.

ICING: 1/2 cup powdered sugar, 1 teaspoon maple flavoring, and 3 tablespoons milk.
