BUTTERMILK DONUTS 
2 eggs
1/4 c. butter
1 c. cold mashed potatoes
1 c. buttermilk
4 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
4 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. nutmeg

Beat egg and sugar slowly, then add melted butter and stir in potatoes. Sift dry ingredients together. Mix these together with wet ingredients. Chill at least 1 hour. Roll, cut and deep fry.
