COCOA SYRUP 
1 c. Hershey's cocoa
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. hot water
Dash of salt
2 tsp. vanilla

Mix the sugar, salt and cocoa in a saucepan. Add sufficient water to make a paste, then add the remainder of the water. Bring to a boil stirring constantly. Boil 3 minutes and add vanilla. Pour at once into a jar. When cold, cover and place in the refrigerator. This makes 2 cups.
