BROWNIES IN MINT CONDITION | |
1 family size box chewy style brownie mix 2 c. powdered sugar 1/2 tsp. salt 1/3 c. butter Milk Mint flavoring to taste Green food coloring, (as desired) 2 sq. unsweetened chocolate 2 tbsp. butter Prepare brownie mix and bake in 13 x 9 inch pan for 25 minutes at 350 degrees. Cool. Prepare mint frosting: Combine in electric mixer the powdered sugar, salt, butter, mint flavoring, green food coloring and enough milk to make it a good spreading consistency. Spread mint frosting over the cooled brownies. Let set until crusted on top. Melt the unsweetened chocolate and butter and drizzle over the mint frosting. Tilt the pan to let the chocolate run over the top to cover. Cool and then cut into 40 pieces with a wet knife. VARIATION FOR REESE'S LOVERS: Substitute creamy peanut butter sweetened with powdered sugar for the mint frosting. Top with chocolate glaze. |
