BEST EVER DOUGHNUTS 
1 qt. milk, scalded
10 tbsp. sugar
8 tbsp. cooking oil
1 tbsp. salt or less
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
7 tbsp. dry yeast
4 c. white flour
4 c. wheat flour

Pour milk in bowl. Add sugar, salt and nutmeg. Add yeast. Add flours until well blended. Turn on floured board and knead until you can handle it. Roll 1/2 inch thick, cut and let rise for 5 minutes. Fry in cooking oil until brown. Dip in cinnamon sugar, glaze or frost.
