24 HOUR CABBAGE SALAD 
1 green pepper, grated
1 lg. carrot, grated
1 sm. onion, grated
2 lb. cabbage, grated
1 env. Knox gelatin
1/4 c. cold water
1 3/4 c. sugar
1 c. vinegar
1 tsp. celery seeds
1 tsp. salt
Dash pepper
1 c. salad oil

Dissolve gelatin in water. Heat sugar with vinegar, then cool partially. Add celery seed, salt, and pepper. Refrigerate until thick and add oil. Fold in grated vegetables. Store in refrigerator for at least 24 hours.
