CHEESE BAKED ONIONS 
6 med. onions
1 can mushrooms
1 can cream of celery soup
6 Cheddar cheese sticks
1/4 c. Cheddar cheese, grated
Paprika to taste
1/2 c. onion liquid

Parboil onions until just tender. Do not overcook! Save cooking liquid. Pull out hearts of onions, fill each cavity with a stick of Cheddar cheese. Place onions in 1 quart casserole. Sprinkle with mushrooms and grated cheese. Mix cream of celery soup with onion liquid and pour over onions. Sprinkle with paprika. Bake uncovered at 325 degrees for 30 to 45 minutes.
