PUNCH BOWL CAKE | |
2 layer yellow cake, baked and cooled 2 lg. boxes instant vanilla pudding, mix as directed 2 cans pie filling, 1 cherry and 1 blueberry 2 (16 oz.) cans crushed pineapple in heavy syrup 3 bananas, sliced 1 c. coconut flakes 1 c. chopped pecans 1 extra lg. Cool Whip Crumble 1 layer (cooled) of the cake in the bottom of a punch bowl. Top with 1 box pudding (mixed as directed and let thicken) 1 cup cherry pie mix, 1 cup pineapple with juice, 1 1/2 sliced bananas, half of Cool Whip, 1/2 cup coconut, 1/2 cup chopped pecans. Repeat again with other layer of cake. Then rest of ingredients in same order. Garnish with rest of coconut, pecans and top with halved maraschino cherries. Very pretty and um um good! Serves a large crowd. |
