PUNCH BOWL CAKE 
2 pints fresh strawberry halves
3 or 4 fresh bananas, sliced
1 (1 lb.) can pineapple chunks, drained
1 angel food cake, sliced in 4 layers
2 lg. containers Cool Whip
2 lg. boxes instant vanilla pudding

Prepare pudding according to directions. Prepare and chill all ingredients except bananas, about 1 hour before serving. Assemble into a punch bowl, starting with some fresh fruit, then add a thin layer of vanilla pudding, top with a little Cool Whip. Put the smallest layer of cake on top and press down slightly into pudding and cream. Start with more fruit and continue as before, using all 4 layers of cake ending with Cool Whip. Decorate with whole strawberries and chill until ready to serve.
