YOU NAME IT ONE DISH DESSERT
1 med. sized casserole dish
1 reg. size cake mix (any flavor)
1 lb. can of fruit with syrup to compliment flavor of cake mix
1 stick of butter

Pour fruit and syrup into casserole. Spread dry mix evenly over the fruit. Slice butter into pats and in rows across the dry cake mix - put close enough together so every little cake mix shows. Place casserole dish in cold oven, then set at 350 degrees. As soon as butter has melted over the top of cake mix remove from oven and spread butter evenly over the dry mix so no mix is visible.

Allow cake to bake until light brown - approximately 30 to 45 minutes. Remove to cooling rack. Serve with ice cream or whipped cream.

Suggested combinations: Peach cobbler; white cake and peaches. Black forest cherry cake; chocolate cake and cherries. Antique Spice Surprise; Spice cake mix and apricots.

That's called a Dump Cake because you just dump everything in the pan and cook it! My family has been making those for generations... Great dessert!
