RICE MUSHROOM DISH | |
1 (6 oz.) pkg. long grain and wild rice 1 can beef broth 1/4 c. water 1 sm. onion, chopped 1/2 c. chopped celery 4 tbsp. butter 1 (3 oz.) can mushrooms, drained and sliced Prepare rice according to package, substituting broth and 1 1/4 cups water for liquid. Cook onion and celery in butter until tender but not brown. Stir onion and celery into rice 5 minutes before end of cooking time. Stir in mushrooms. Cook until liquid is absorbed. |
