FREEZER SLAW 
1 med. head cabbage, shredded
1 carrot, grated
1 c. vinegar
1 tbsp. each celery seed & mustard seed
1 tbsp. salt
1 green pepper, chopped
1/4 c. water
2 c. sugar

Shred cabbage; add salt and let stand 1 hour. Squeeze out excess water. Add carrot and green pepper and celery and mustard seeds. Mix vinegar, water and sugar in saucepan and boil 3 minutes and cool. Pour over cabbage mixture and mix. Keeps well and stays crisp.
