GERMAN POTATO SALAD 
4 potatoes, boiled with jackets on
Salt
1 slice onion
4 slices bacon
1/2 c. sugar
1 tbsp. cornstarch or flour
1/2 c. vinegar
2 tbsp. bacon grease

Peel and slice potatoes. Season lightly with salt. Add onion. Fry crisp 4 slices bacon. Boil together remaining ingredients, pour over potatoes and add 2 boiled eggs, chopped. Garnish with crisp bacon. Serve warm.
