SPAGHETTI SAUCE WITH MEAT AND
MUSHROOMS
 
2 cans (1 lb.) tomatoes
2 cans (8 oz.) tomato sauce
2 cans tomato paste
2 buds garlic, chopped
1 c. onion, chopped
1 tbsp. oregano
1 tbsp. parley flakes
1 to 1 1/2 lbs. ground meat
1 can (8 oz.) sliced mushrooms
1 to 2 tbsp. sugar
Salt and pepper to taste
1/4 c. olive oil or cooking oil (olive oil gives more Italian flavor)

Saute onions and garlic in oil, add ground beef and cook until meat is brown. Add all tomatoes, spices and mushrooms and simmer for 1 hour or more.

For economy, double all but the meat and freeze part for later use.
