MANDARIN PORK CHOPS | |
4 pork chops 1 tbsp. canola oil 1/2 cup low-sugar orange juice 1/4 cup water 3 tbsp. brown sugar 2 tbsp. lemon juice 1 tbsp. cornstarch 2 tsp. chicken stock granules or chicken powder 11 oz can Mandarin oranges, drained 1 green pepper, slice In a large skillet, over medium-high heat, brown chops in oil on both sides. Remove from pan. Add remaining ingredients, except for Mandarin oranges and pepper. Cook and stir until slightly thickened. Add chops, cover, simmer for 20 minutes or until tender. Top with Mandarin oranges and green pepper slices last 5 minutes. Serve. Submitted by: Sherry Monfils |
