BROCCOLI CHEESE SOUP 
1 1/2 lbs. fresh broccoli
2 c. skimmed canned milk
2 c. water
1 lb. processed cheese spread
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 c. cornstarch, mixed with 1 c. cold water

Steam broccoli until tender; drain or (use juice instead of water). Place canned milk and 2 cups water in top of double boiler. Add cheese (cut into pieces) and pepper. Heat until cheese is melted. Add broccoli. Mix cornstarch and 1 cup water. Stir into cheese mixture in double boiler. Heat until cheese thickens. Makes 10 (1/2 cup) servings.
