CHOCOLATE FUDGE | |
1/2 c. butter 1 (12 oz.) can evaporated milk 4 c. granulated sugar 1/2 lb. (32 lg.) marshmallows 2 sq. baking chocolate 1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate bits 1 bar German chocolate 1 tbsp. vanilla 2 c. chopped pecans Combine butter, milk and sugar in a large, heavy pan. Place on medium heat; stir until sugar dissolves. Bring mixture to a boil and cover. Boil 5 minutes and then turn off heat. Add marshmallows and stir until dissolved. Add chocolates one at a time, stirring after each addition. Add vanilla and pecans and beat until glossy. Pour into a greased 15 x 10 x 1 inch pan. When candy is firm, cut into squares. Makes 5 pounds. |
