SPINACH NOODLE CASSEROLE | |
4 oz. med. noodles (about 2 1/2 c.) 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped spinach 3 tbsp. butter 2 tbsp. flour 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. paprika 1 c. milk 1/2 lb. thinly sliced Muenster cheese Cook noodles as package directs. Cook spinach as package directs and drain. In saucepan melt butter, stir in flour, salt and paprika; gradually stir in milk. Cook until thickened, stirring constantly; remove from heat, stir in spinach. In greased 12 x 8 x 2 inch baking dish arrange half of noodles, half of spinach mixture and half of cheese. Repeat layer. Bake 15 minutes at 400 degrees until cheese is bubbly. Serves 4. |
