ROMAN APPLE CAKE | |
Cake: 1/2 c. brown sugar 1 c. white sugar 1/2 c. butter 2 eggs 3/4 tsp. cinnamon 1/2 c. milk 2 1/4 c. flour 2 tsp. baking powder 1 tsp. baking soda 4 c. apples, peeled, cutup 1 tsp. salt Cream sugar and butter and add sifted dry ingredients. Add milk, eggs and apples. Pour in a bottom oil and floured 9x12 pan. Topping: 1/2 c. sugar 1/2 c. chopped nuts 1/2 tsp. cinnamon Mix together and sprinkle on top of batter. Bake at 325°F for 40 minutes. |
