SWEDISH MEATBALLS 
1 lb. ground round steak
1/2 tsp. onion salt
1/4 c. water
1/2 c. fine bread crumbs
1 egg
1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
Juice of 1 lemon
Lemon slices (optional)
Parsley (optional)

Combine meat, salt, water, bread crumbs and egg; mix well and shape into small balls. Set aside.

Combine sugar, tomato sauce and lemon juice in a saucepan; simmer about 3 minutes. Add meatballs and continue to simmer 45 minutes.

Transfer to a chafing dish set on low heat. Garnish with lemon slices and parsley if desired.

Yield: 3 1/2 dozen.
