MERRIE'S MEATBALLS | |
1 1/2 - 2 lbs. ground beef 5 slices white bread 2 eggs 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. pepper - black 1/2 tsp. garlic powder 1 tbsp. A-1 steak sauce 2 tbsp. butter 1/2 c. finely chopped onion 3/4 c. milk Saute onions in butter. Mix milk, eggs, salt, pepper, garlic, onions and steak sauce. Crumble bread slices and add to milk mixture. Add ground beef. Mix thoroughly with hands. Chill for 45 minutes. Roll into balls 1 1/2 inch. Place in wide pan (pan should have sides to catch drippings). Bake at 325 for 45 minutes or until done on side. Tastes great with your favorite spaghetti sauce or with brown gravy over noodles. |
