BUTTER BAKE RICE 
1 c. rice (Uncle Bens works great)
2 tsp. salt
1/3 c. butter
1 3/4 c. chicken flavor broth
2 c. water
Garlic salt, to taste

Combine salt and 2 cups water; bring to boil, pour over rice. Let stand 30 minutes. Rinse rice with cold water. Drain well.

Melt butter in skillet. Add rice and cook over medium heat, stirring until butter is almost absorbed (5 minutes). Pour into casserole dish. Sprinkle with garlic salt to taste. Pour broth over rice. Bake covered in 325 degree oven 45 minutes. Fluff with fork. Serve.
