BUTTERSCOTCH BROWNIES 
1/2 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
1 egg, unbeaten
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Spread in buttered 8x8 inch pan. Bake 25 minutes at 350 degrees.
