CRUMB INGREDIENTS:

2 c. sifted flour
2 c. brown sugar
2/3 c. Crisco
Pinch of salt

Mix and save 1 scant cup for top.

2 well-beaten eggs
1 tsp. baking soda dissolved in 1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp vanilla

Mix and put in well-greased, floured pan. Top with crumb ingredients and bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees or until done.
